Pre wedding shoots are big business now within the wedding industry. Photographers galore are offering pre wedding shoots or couples shoot or whatever you want to call it as probably another way to sell something to a couple before their wedding. Wedding 170 Queen’s gate

wedding 170 Queen’s gate

I do love a good wedding venue, 170 Queen’s gate, one of the wedding venue’s in London and possibly kensington’s best kept secret. That said, I would normally avoid doing a wedding in London, if it’s not the logistical nightmare of getting to the venue it’s going to be the severe lack of parking. The congestion charge, awful traffic and if that’s not enough and decide not to drive, use the tube instead, it’s going to be dragging around all my very expensive gear on the tube.

Cooling Castle Wedding

The wedding of Andrew and Jennie at Cooling Castle in Kent.

An idyllic location for a wedding, Cooling Castle has to be the venue to get married, a 14th century castle, massive twin turrets, ruined castle walls, fantastic views of the Kent countryside and all within easy reach of major transport links.

Take those castle features and plonk right in the middle of it a Wedding venue.

Terry & Neil, civil partnership

Terry & Neil, civil partnership

When it comes to a same sex wedding, there cannot be anything as much fun as a gay wedding. The civil partnership of Terry & Neil was going to be one of those days I shall never forget, not because it was a same sex partnership, done loads of gay weddings before, it was the guy’s themselves, a great laugh, and really knew how to get the most out of life.

Neil, six foot something and built like a brick….., well you can guess the rest, the sort of guy you would cross the road to avoid, but appearances can be deceptive, Terry the more sensitive of the two, and not afraid to show it, charming guys with a great sense of humor, love to laugh and not afraid to show their feelings for one another.

The Old Rectory

The Old Rectory

Hard to believe, but I had never covered a wedding at the old rectory at Dunton before, in between Brentwood and Orsett, even though it’s only four miles from me. A Victorian Rectory as the name suggests, the only building that is missing is a church to go with it.

The wedding of Paul and Jen in November of 2014, lovely sunny day and warm with it.
